I'm Marina Tiviakova – a product designer based in Spain with over 10 years of experience building digital products that bring clarity to users and measurable value to businesses.
Throughout my career, I've worked across the product lifecycle – from early discovery to polished interfaces and smooth cross-functional delivery. I've also led a small design team, helping focus efforts, streamline collaboration, and drive alignment with stakeholders.
My approach combines systems thinking, a strong sense of user empathy, and a pragmatic mindset focused on business outcomes.
Lately, I've been intentionally steering my path toward Product Ownership – moving closer to product strategy, shaping direction, and contributing to high-impact decisions that define what gets built and why.
If I’m not designing or hunting insights, I’m probably losing (or winning) at padel 🎾

Cross-Team Facilitation
I approach design as a balance between user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. My work process is structured yet flexible – grounded in research, informed by data, and always collaborative.
✷ Research-Driven
Solid great design starts with understanding the problem. I conduct and synthesize user research, analyze product data, and ask "why" until I feel real user surfaced.
✷ Clarity in Framing
Before jumping into solutions, I focus on framing the problem well. I set clear hypotheses, and expertise and success metrics – to ensure we're solving the right thing.
✷ Systems Thinking
Whether working on UI or strategy, I think in systems. I aim to build scalable, consistent experiences, and contribute to or evolve design systems when needed.
✷ Collaboration by Default
Design is a team sport. I work closely with product managers, engineers, analysts, and marketers, to make sure we're building the right thing, not just making it pretty.
✷ Experiment, Learn, Repeat
I don't believe in "one perfect solution." I prefer to validate assumptions early, learn from what users actually do (not just what they say), and iterate based on evidence.
